FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

AM I FIT/FLEXIBLE ENOUGH FOR YOGA?

Yes, you are! Every journey has a starting point and the physical stuff like the postures and breathwork may feel difficult to start with but the true yoga is a continual journey of your practice. It's about showing up for yourself and always practicing self-compassion. That may mean easing off and resting sometimes. It is OK if you can't get into some of the poses. Most postures have versions of the same or a similar pose you can practice instead. There are many ways to adapt the practice around the limits of our bodies. As we practice the physical stuff alongside the theory it all starts to feel easier and more natural.

DO YOU USE OILS FOR INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE?

Indian Head Massage can be done either with or without oils. Any oils used will be discussed beforehand to ensure you have no sesitivities or prefrences and oil can be avoided on blemish prone areas like the face if you choose. It can be nice to have a subtle fragrance of lavender or just a neutral base oil with minimal scent.
