Service Description

This two hour exploration of the core is suitable for beginner and experienced yogis. It will help you to understand or remind you why this muscle group is so important to our movement practice as a whole. We will begin by starting to warm up the body for about 30 minutes with a strong emphasis on activating the core muscles and engaging the breath. We will then spend about 50-60 minutes working on how to engage and properly use these muscles for stability and injury prevention in a variety of yoga poses, covering a broad spectrum of movement types. The session will end with a peaceful 10 minute rest. You will have a chance to ask questions over a cup of tea and yummy treat at the end of the session. Spaces are limited so please book ahead. It is highly recommeded that you bring 1 or 2 blankets with you and any other comfort props that you wish (small pillow, eye cushion).
