Service Description

This is a two hour afternoon workshop to obtain all the benefits of sleep while trying to stay completely awake. You will send your physical body into a deep state of rest while the mind is still conscious and aware. We will begin with a gentle conversation about the benefits of yogic sleep or yoga nidra and you will be welcomed to make yourself very comfortable with an array of provided props (bolsters, blocks and straps). First, we will move through aroud 30-40 minutes of very gentle stretches to prepare the body to be comfortable in its rest. Then, you will be guided through a 30 minute deep yoga nidra and 10 minute peaceful sound bath. The session will close with some reflective conversation over a herbal tea and yummy treat. Spaces are limited so please book ahead. It is highly recommeded that you bring 1 or 2 blankets with you and any other comfort props that you wish (small pillow, eye cushion).
